Come along to this community information session in Katherine next week about the NT Gunner Government’s plans for a new high pressure gas pipeline to pass through Katherine. This community information session will take place at:

Earlier this year the Gunner Government paid CNC Project Management $327,140 to undertake a prefeasibility study for a 900 km high pressure gas pipeline to take shale gas from Tennant Creek to Darwin.

This proposed gas pipeline has raised concerns from communities along the pipeline route with traditional owners and pastoralists opposing these plans. 

Come along to this information session to find out more about this proposed gas pipeline and how it may impact upon the Katherine community next Tuesday evening.
